ZCA Online Event: Impact of Covid-19 on trade logistics - June 24, 2020


Trade logistics are the key enabler to the international trade in goods as are related operations, such as border controls and insurance. In the current environment we have seen a significant upheaval in international transportation. We will learn more about the impact of the global pandemic on trade logistics and thus our businesses today, tomorrow and as ‘crisis’ migrates to recovery:

Jon Walden, MBE FIEx FIFP
Mr Walden has been involved in international trade for 30 years as a practitioner, author, commentator, trainer and consultant. He has authored three books on international trade procedures and provides training and consultancy to organisations, trade associations, companies, including multinationals, on a global basis. He is retained by the International Steel Trade Association UK as a training provider and is an examiner for the UK Institute of Export & International Trade. Jon is an adviser to the International Chamber of Commerce and is on the UNCEFACT and UNCTAD Roster of Experts. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Export and a Fellow of the Institute of Freight Professionals. Jon provides training on international trade procedures, shipping / logistics, customs, insurance, trade finance, supply chain management, export credit control and documentation tor organisations in UK and in over 20 countries. He was awarded MBE in 2005.
