Focusright offers a workshop to support commodity trading companies in their continuing effort in implementing human rights due diligence (HRDD).

This in-depth workshop aims to show participants how risks along the value chain can be identified and prioritised in the context of human rights due diligence and how a company can adequately address the identified risks. The focus is therefore on the development of a risk management system. In addition to general HRDD topics, the workshop provides an overview of the latest legislative developments in Switzerland (incl. the counterproposal of the Responsible Business Initiative (RBI) and its implementing ordinance) and abroad. The event is tailored to the commodity trading industry and focuses on practical exercises and peer exchange.

This event is organised with focusright ltd in cooperation with the Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein (GCNSL), the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) as part of the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (NAP).
